CHILE HARVEST TRIATHLON 2020 IS CANCELLED
For the safety of our participants and our volunteers, the 2020 adult and youth races are both cancelled. With the current COVID-19 situation and all of the uncertainty accompanying it, we had to make this unfortunate decision. We hate that it had to be this way, but we're committed to focusing our energies on making the 2021 race the best one yet. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 7, 2021 for the adult race and the evening before (Friday, August 6, 2021) for our youth race. We hope you all stay healthy and join us next year!
About the Race
The Socorro Chile Harvest Triathlon has been running for 25+ years!! This race is a 400 m swim in the City of Socorro pool, with a 20 km bike ride through Socorro and New Mexico Tech campus, ending with a relatively flat 5 km run through residential parts of town. The race is well supported by many happy volunteers, and completely organized and run by a local club, Socorro Striders and Riders. Make a weekend out of it -- come check out our sprint triathlon Saturday morning, with a youth triathlon for ages 7-14, the Friday before the race.
